In the past month I have made way too many crafts and have been just plain busy!
I needed a little vacation so it was off to San Diego. Even though Thomas was not able to join me, I headed down to SD to hang with Becca, Jeff, and Kenzie. A bonus was seeing 3 of my sisters, my brother-in-law, and my nephew!
Then last minute, we were invited to go snow shoeing with a couple from church. We had a fabulous time tromping through the snow with Kathryn and Montana. (I did find the last pair of snow pants at TJ Maxx for only $7. Steal!)
Then my mom and youngest sister Clara came to visit, so we visited the Almond Roca Factory and the Glass Museum here in Tacoma. Love me some almond roca and glass paper weights with little people butts in them.
We also ate tons of great food and then made it up to Seattle for the day for more adventures including discovering the gum wall for the first time. It is the second germiest attraction in Seattle we were informed.
We dropped them off at the airport and Thomas and I headed up to try our hand at skiing for the first time. I loved it. Too bad it is too darn expensive to go often. Good thing I found those $7 pants!
All in all, we are busy, we are happy, we are well fed, and we are loving this life God has given us.
And I saw a Harrier jet fly above our house moments ago. I love living in the flight path of our Air Force Base. It is weirdly comforting.
